Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using AIRec ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

AIRec is an AI-powered voice recording application that provides speech-to-text transcription, AI-generated meeting notes, and cloud synchronization. The App is provided by TekoTek ("we", "us").

2. Account Registration

You must create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email/password to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Subscription Plans

AIRec offers auto-renewable subscriptions available for purchase inside the App via Apple In-App Purchase (on iOS/iPadOS/macOS) and Google Play Billing (on Android). Plans:

• Free — no charge. 5 recordings per month, up to 15 minutes each. On-device transcription (Whisper). 2 cloud AI summaries per month.
• Basic — 30 recordings per month, up to 1 hour each. Cloud AI transcription, cloud sync, PDF export. Available in 1-month, 6-month, and 1-year durations.
• Pro — unlimited recordings, up to 2.5 hours each. Everything in Basic plus translation and priority AI processing. Available in 1-month, 6-month, and 1-year durations.

3a. Pricing and duration

The exact price in your local currency and the duration of each subscription option (1 month, 6 months, or 1 year) are displayed on the purchase screen in the App and on the App Store / Google Play product page immediately before you confirm the purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change; any change takes effect only for renewal periods after we notify you.

3b. Payment and auto-renewal

• Payment will be charged to your Apple Account (on iOS/iPadOS/macOS) or Google Play account (on Android) at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews for the same duration and at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen subscription package.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple Account Settings → Subscriptions (or Google Play → Subscriptions on Android) after purchase.
• Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your Apple or Google account settings.

3c. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; paid features remain available until then. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple (report a problem at reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play under their respective refund policies. TekoTek cannot process refunds directly for App Store or Play Store purchases.

3d. Free trials

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a paid subscription that included such a free trial.

By purchasing an auto-renewable subscription you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Record conversations without the consent of all participants where required by law
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Share your account with others or exceed the 4-device limit

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all audio recordings and notes you create. We do not claim any rights to your content. The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by TekoTek.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Audio recordings are processed on-device and are not uploaded to our servers unless you enable Cloud Sync.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcriptions or AI analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TekoTek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the App or at our deletion page. Deletion requests are processed within 24-48 hours.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
